About Me - Beewellbeing
My passion is, put simply - healing. I aim to help people explore not just the psychological side of themselves but also to look at wellbeing, as a whole, this is something that drives me and gives me purpose and meaning.
A number of things have led to this passion: Coming from a farming background gave me an appreciation for showing up and putting in the work, but also an insight into how our very kiwi mentality of "she'll be right, carry on" is not always helpful. As a teen an accident on the farm saw me in a back brace with almost half a decade of un-ending pain, this gave me an appreciation for mental and physical resiliency and healing, while also giving insight into how closely the two are entwined. Watching loved one's struggle with mental health and trauma led me to truly value seeing healing, one person's struggles don't ever affect only themselves.
Working throughout my counselling studies I gained a passion for motorbikes, deep friendships and boardgames. I also met my biggest blessing in life, my husband of now ten years, who has served in the forces for the majority of the time I have known him. We have two wonderful children.
Moving into the justice sector meant working with a large variety of people, this gave me an appreciation for the complexities of life and how important seeking help can be.
If you got this far... well-done. I also enjoy tramping, yoga, cooking, sewing, monopoly deal, chocolate and last but absolutely most importantly - coffee.
I look forward to meeting you and moving together on your own journey towards wellbeing.

As the founder, I have spent years working directly with challenging issues, gaining hands-on experience that has shaped the empathetic and practical approach I bring to our counselling sessions. My unique 'on the ground experience' allows me to truly understand the intricate dynamics of personal and family challenges.
